Multan Sultans pulled off one of the biggest run chases in PSL history, successfully hunting down a massive 226-run target against Hyderabad Kingsmen in Lahore. The chase was completed comfortably with eight balls remaining, marking a dominant performance from the batting unit.
The foundation was laid early by Sahibzada Farhan, who played a match-winning knock and remained unbeaten till the end. His 106 off 57 balls ensured Multan stayed ahead of the required rate throughout the innings.
He was well supported by Steven Smith at the top. The duo added 104 runs for the first wicket, putting immediate pressure on the opposition. Smith’s quickfire 46 off just 20 deliveries helped the team race to 83 runs inside the Powerplay.
